Go Blue

Challenge 5

Each team member should take Quiz 0 on Canvas. You can work with your team and discuss the answers. The quiz will not count toward your final grade, but it may count toward your team’s 501 Hunt score. Future quizzes in this course will be similar to that quiz in terms of format. However, you will be asked to take future quizzes alone, without sharing answers with other students.

That’s the last challenge!

You have until Sunday, September 3 at 11:59pm ET to complete the 501 Hunt and submit your documentation on Canvas as an Assignment. (If the Canvas site has been set up correctly, only one team member should have to submit the assignment for your team. If you have any questions or doubts, email your GSI with the final documentation.)

If you have time, polish your submission document. You will be scored for clarity and formatting as much as for good, thorough content. If the main content is good, you will also get additional points for any creative attempts to make the document easier to understand or more interesting to read.

If you don’t finish the 501 Hunt or your report by the deadline, that’s OK – not all teams will finish. Submit partial answers to the challenges, or whatever you’ve got. The results of the 501 Hunt do not have a direct impact on your grade, but it’s an important way to get to know your teammates through working together, familiarize yourself with some of the skills and concepts you’re likely to encounter again in the semester, and demonstrate engagement in the course.
